PHASE II:
A Grand Vision: US-Based Pinoys Helping Kababayans Back Home

  1. The present vision is to galvanize Filipinos in the United States to pledge to donate $10.00/month to the TYF, a small contribution, but which amounts to a huge sum once pulled together and converted to Philippine pesos.

  2. 200 donors contributing $10/month will total $2,000, equivalent to more than P100,000.00/month which can fund:

  1. Scholarships programs for poor but deserving students

  2. Livelihood programs for urban and rural poor communities

  3. Relief services for victims of calamities,

  4. Seminary formation for indigent seminarians,

  5. Facilities (computers, library books) for public schools,

  6. Facilities and technological support for farming and fishing communities,

  7. Deep wells for poor communities,

  8. Facilities and supplies for rural health centers,

  9. Ecological and cultural preservation programs of indigenous communities, etc.

  1. The funds will be made available to NGOs, parishes, schools, and civic organizations throughout the Philippines.

  2. The board and staff of the TYF will process project proposals and select beneficiaries every month. Beneficiaries will be spread all over the Philippines.

  3. Every month the TYF will send an email report to all donors, updating everyone about all past and on-going projects. As the track record of the foundation expands, the TYF attracts more donors. Hopefully, within a year or two, the TYF gathers 500 donors whose monthly $10 contribution will amount to over P250,000.00/month.
